Unity · Cultural Dialogue · Symbolic Consciousness
This installation at the Cameroon National Museum articulates art as a symbolic structure of unity, opening a field of intercultural dialogue and shared human consciousness.
Developed within an institutional and cross-cultural context, the project explores the possibility of a symbolic language capable of transcending geographical and cultural boundaries.
Material, form, and spatial composition generate a perceptual field in which memory, identity, and collective consciousness coexist and interact.
Rather than representing difference, the installation proposes a condition of relational unity — a space where cultures encounter one another within a shared symbolic horizon.
The work situates art as a form of ethical mediation, where symbolic structure becomes a language of coherence and human connection. Tribute to Traditions: Cultural Diversity in Unity at the National Museum of Cameroon in Yaoundé. The work testifies to the dialogue between cultures and recalls the friendship between the explorer Pietro Savorgnan di Brazzà and Makoko Iloo I, sovereign of the Batéké and a major spiritual leader of Equatorial Africa. The project reaffirms the principle of recognizing the full humanity of every individual, regardless of geographical or cultural origin, transforming historical memory into a contemporary reflection on dignity, coexistence, and ethical responsibility.
Project realized in collaboration with Idanna Pucci and Terence Ward.
